Parents are the cornerstone of any child's education. We need parents to be involved in the day to day operations of the school. The school has several committees and booster organizations that are focused on making the school a highly productive, wonderful place to be.
Consider joining:
School Advisory Committee, (SAC) - This group is comprised of community stakeholders that help make decisions to support tour campus goals. There is a monthly meeting where discussion ensue to promote student achievement.
Parent Teacher Association, (PTA) - This group is comprised of parents and teachers. They support campus projects that enhance student and teacher life on campus. This team fund raise to provide teacher grants, charitable outreach to families in our school community, and staff appreciation.
Performing Arts Booster - There are opportunities for parents to support the arts. These are our programs: Band, Chorus Guitar, Musical Theatre, and Orchestra. Our teachers welcome any support you can give to enhance student experiences.
Athletics- We have a stellar athletic program here at Maitland. Our coaches are always looking for parental support to help increase engagement as the students learn the fundamentals of sports and sportsmanship.
