Who, What, When, Where?
* As a part of the eighth grade curriculum integration, we will be taking a field trip to Busch Gardens on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Let's Talk About Cost!
* A fee of $130 is due by Friday, March 28th to cover each student's admission to the park, meal voucher, snack, T-shirt, and bus ride to and from the park. ANNUAL PASSES will be ACCEPTED, and a fee of $70 is due by Friday, March 28 to cover student's meal voucher, T-shirt and bus ride.
* Students must show us their pass so we can make a copy by Friday, March 28th. They must also show their pass to us prior to departing school the morning of the trip in order to go on the trip.
* This should be a great 7th grade field trip. However, because of the location, it is more expensive than some field trips in the past. If you would like to make a donation to help those unable to attend for financial reasons, you may include the donation with your child's fee.
Before We Go!
CANCELLATION: DUE TO THE REQUIREMENT OF ADVANCED RESERVATION AND BOOKING THE FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER MARCH 28TH.
NOTE: Between April 1st-May 9th students who have five or more unexcused tardies, more than three Level 1 referrals or more than one Level 2 or one Level 3 referral WILL NOT be allowed to attend AND A REFUND WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
Students should remember that even off campus they are still representing Maitland Middle School and should act in accordance to our code of conduct. Students who break these rules will be confined and supervised in a designated area.

Students will need to arrive to school by 9:15am to ride charter busses leaving at 8:00am. We will assemble in the MMS gym. Students must wear school appropriate pants or shorts with the field trip t-shirt, which will be given the day of the trip.
Each person attending the trip will receive one (1) meal voucher, which includes an entree, side, snack, and drink. Each person is responsible for bringing a credit/debit card (the park is cashless) for other snacks or anything else they want to purchase.
We will be returning to school by 8:00pm (barring any traffic delays). Parents will pick up their child at the back of the school (Please DO NOT wait for student).
PLEASE RETURN YOUR PERMISSION SLIP TO YOUR ELA TEACHER BY APRIL 4TH, 2025. PERMISSION SLIPS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 4TH.
