The hours in between school ending and parents returning home from work are crucial hours in the life of a child. Afterschool programs provide students the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, interact with their peers, work under the care and supervision of supportive mentors, build on lessons learned during the school day and more.

At Maitland Middle School, we offer the YMCA Middle School Program. This program operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 9:00am, and 4:00pm - 6:00pm. There is a charge for the before school program, while the after school program is offered free-of-charge through a grant from the Orange County Government.
